Album E225 (R). Extremely fine. Rare. An Abbasid prince and son of the third caliph al-Mahdi, Ibrahim was briefly propelled to power during the Fourth Fitna when the citizens of Baghdad revolted against Caliph al-Ma'mun. Proclaimed caliph in 817, Ibrahim secured the crucial allegiance of the Hashemites and minted coinage in his own name during this turbulent civil war. His rebellion was short-lived; he was forced to abdicate in 819, ultimately spending the remainder of his life in peaceful retirement as a celebrated poet and musician.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Nuqud Gallery","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":59551216894238,"sku":"2838","price":600.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0790\/2229\/3278\/files\/2838_1.jpg?v=1783156729","url":"https:\/\/nuqudgallery.com\/products\/sku2838","provider":"Nuqud Gallery","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
