Sicily: William I (1154-1166), gold tari (1.18g), Siqiliya (Sicily) mint, AH 551 (1156-1157 CE). William cited with title al-Hadi. Triangle and 3 pellets in obverse center, inner margin "al-hadi bi-amrillah al-malik ghulyalim" (the one who guides by the command of Allah, the King William), mint and date in Arabic in outer margin / Cross flanked by IC-XC NI-KA in reverse center, Arabic legends around. Fantastic example with clear mint and date preceded by "'am" instead of "sanat", both words indicating the year in Arabic.
