Sicily: Roger II (1105-1154), gold tari (0.93g), Messina mint, AH 536 (1141-1142 CE). Roger cited with title al-Mu'tazz. Star in obverse center, inner margin "al-mu'tazz billah al-malik rujar" (the one who is glorified by Allah, the King Roger), Arabic legends in outer margin / Cross flanked by IC-XC NI-KA in reverse center, Arabic legends around. Clearly legible mint and date. Clipped (possibly from the mint itself to meet weight standard), otherwise extremely fine.
