Sicily: Roger II (1105-1154), gold tari (1.23g), Siqiliya (Sicily) / Messina, 1105-1154 CE. Roger cited with title al-Mu'tazz. Pellet in obverse center, inner margin "al-mu'tazz billah al-malik rujar" (the one who is glorified by Allah, the King Roger), Arabic legends in outer margin / Cross flanked by IC-XC NI-KA in reverse center, Arabic legends around. Extremely fine to about uncirculated.
